Brooklyn Bridge

One of the oldest suspension bridges in the world, the Brooklyn Bridge was erected in 1883 and has remained an iconic part of the New York City skyline. Kleinberg Electric completed a rehabilitation of the Brooklyn Bridge’s traveler system through the installation of approximately 10,000 linear feet of conductor rail under the structure, to power its maintenance travelers. The project also included installation of power centers beneath the bridge in an effort to provide power to the conductor rail, increasing the voltage to 480 volts. El Sol/GCCOM, JV was the general contractor.
