Project Manager

Fundamental to this role is to be able to work independently as well as a team member.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

Position Description:
  • Direct and supervise work of project administration, project superintendents and engineers to establish operational priorities.
  • Maintain satisfactory relationships with owners, subcontractors, unions, etc.
  • Demonstrate growing familiarity with managing the construction process.
  • Follow-through on open items and track their status.
  • Increasing familiarity with Q/A, Safety and Engineering.
  • Understanding of transit contract specifications and design standards.
  • Use planning and (CPM) scheduling to keep the project on track.
  • Utilize scope and change management skills.
  • Effectively manage the change order process.
  • Plan and participate in change order negotiations.
  • Use of cost reporting, cost management and
  • project financials.
  • Utilize project risk mitigation tools to prevent any
  • conflicts to the project.
Qualifications Required:

Experience:
  • Project Manager: 5 year (Preferred)
Education:
  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering
