Fundamental to this role is to be able to work independently as well as a team member and be eager to learn.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
Position Description:
- Prepare detailed take off estimates by analyzing plans and specifications and enter computer Accu- bid electrical estimating system.
- Identify qualified suppliers/subcontractors and solicit quotes. Review quotes with supervisor for completeness and conformance with plans and specs.
- Prepare cost in Accubid by recapitulating mate- rial, labor, indirect labor, subcontractors, general expense, equipment rental, quoted material, bid breakdowns and final pricing.
- Prepare proposal letters and bid forms.

Experience:
- Electrical Estimating: 1 year (Preferred)
- Accubid Estimating Software: 1 year (Preferred)
Education:
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering
