Kleinberg Electric completed a comprehensive station rehabilitation of this high-traffic subway station in Jackson Heights, Queens, including new EDRs, EPRs, photovoltaic panels, power, lighting, escalators, elevators, signal and communication upgrades. Kleinberg also completed the construction of the Victor Moore Arcade, a glass and steel structure with roof-mounted photovoltaic panels. Both projects were completed over a 48-month period while the station remained open to the subway-riding public. The general contractor for the project was Slattery Skanska/Gottlieb Skanska Inc. JV.
